Operating towards becoming a carbon neutral enterprise is a part of our overall vision for the future.

As a proud Australian agency, CDAA has long been implementing environmentally friendly practices to reduce greenhouse gas emissions within its business. The agency operation, which predominantly generates indirect emissions, has actively been turning off lights in unused offices, switching off appliances and equipment not in use as well as recycling and reducing unnecessary paper and office waste.

The remainder of emissions, stemming from fossil fuels like petrol and electricity have been offset using online calculators to determine their total business carbon emissions. A corresponding donation is then made to fund carbon abatement projects and support organisations that offer and promote renewable energy sources for South Australia and beyond.

CDAA chooses to pay the credit from its business emissions to Trees For Life's Carbon Neutral Program as a 'Green' Supporter, with the funds specifically going to tree planting and environmental regeneration in South Australia. In addition to this commitment, CDAA actively encourages partnerships with suppliers that also employ eco friendly practices.

CDAA believes that although some control over its eco friendly operations may remain limited, the contribution that it does make toward generating a lower carbon environment can only be a step in the right direction to solving global warming.
